The Premier Flower Bulb Collection combines cherished spring favorites with distinctive new varieties for layers of color and texture in mid- to late-spring. The beloved 'Apeldoorn Elite' and 'Parade' Darwin tulips provide a sunny mix of red, orange, and yellow hues, while the cool blue of 'Peppermint' Grape Hyacinth carpets the ground. Double blooms of 'Yellow Cheerfulness' Daffodil provide countless lush, silky petals and 'Mount Everest' Allium adds snow white globes of flowers.

USDA Hardiness Planting Zones

To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.

  • If the coldest winter temperature expected in your area is -15°F (zone 5) then any plants rated zones 3-5 will survive the winter temperatures in your area.
  • If you live in very warm winter areas (zones 9-11) plants with zones 3-4 ratings are not recommended. The lack of freezing winter temperatures do not provide a time for winter dormancy (rest).

Plant Information

The Premier Flower Bulb Collection includes a total of 96 bulbs featuring five classic varieties. We take all the guesswork out of gardening, bringing you the best of spring in one easy package. Designed to provide a rich mix of texture and layers of blooms, this collection accents the strong form of Tulips with white globes of 'Mount Everest' Allium and ruffled blooms of double Daffodil. Each variety was selected for their ease of naturalization, so you can enjoy the blooms year after year. For a natural appearance, try mixing all of the bulbs together in a bag before laying them randomly in drifts and masses. The taller Allium will reach up above the other bulbs for a lovely accent, while the golden hues of 'Apeldoorn Elite' Darwin Tulip and 'Yellow Cheerfulness' Double Daffodil contrast beautifully against the brilliant red of 'Parade' Darwin Tulip. 'Peppermint' Grape Hyacinth adds delightful fragrance to the mix. Perfect for cutting, but remember to keep Daffodils in a separate vase from the other flowers.

Our Premier Flower Bulb Collection covers roughly 11 sq. ft. if planted together and contains 96 bulbs:

1. 'Apeldoorn Elite' Tulipa – 20 bulbs
2. 'Parade' Tulipa – 20 bulbs
3. 'Yellow Cheerfulness' Narcissus – 16 bulbs
4. 'Mount Everest' Allium – 4 bulbs
5. 'Peppermint' Muscari – 36 bulbs

*Not all plants will be in bloom at the same time, as depicted on the illustration. Plants are subject to change due to availability. If we make substitutions, we feature plants with similar attributes suitable to the garden/collection design.
