(4-10" tall) The Naturalizing Fairy Garden Bulb
Collection begins the season with a delightful pairing of 'Tete-a-Tete'
Miniature Daffodil and Siberian Squill. Emerging early spring, this
yellow-and-blue duo grows just 4 to 6 inches tall – a perfect groundcover for
edging pathways and dressing the front of borders. Next to arrive are the
uniquely patterned blooms of Chequered Lily Fritillaria, sending up drifts of
purple, white, and pink blooms mid-spring. At 10 inches, fritillaria is
the tallest bulb of the mix, but still perfectly pint-sized. The upward-facing
blooms of 'Golden Bells' Daffodil open in late spring, carrying their sunny
yellow hues into early summer. This charming collection is perfect for planting
in rock gardens or adding a touch of whimsy to your secret garden. Bulbs in
this collection naturalize well in hardiness zones 3 through 8. Plant in full
to partial sun in a well-draining soil. Encourage establishment by allowing the
foliage to die back naturally, rather than cutting it down early, as plants
store energy and enter summer dormancy.
