Comments about American Meadows Spring Starflower Bulb Mix:

I love these for many reasons but the most is their habit of spreading quickly, I've got some planted 10 years ago that are a huge drift now. The bulbs were big and healthy as they are now blooming beautifully! I look forward to watching them spread in the coming years. I love American Meadows!!

Comments about American Meadows Spring Starflower Bulb Mix:

I planted half the bulbs in two holes so that they would grow in a clump and they look beautiful! The colors are just as they were pictured. Will be ordering more for around my trees.

Comments about American Meadows Spring Starflower Bulb Mix:

Bulbs were healthy and I had no issues at all. After a heavy rain they bloomed. It was nice for several weeks before browsing deer (!!!) finally found them and they were gone. Because they were small it took them a while to find them (this is the plus part).

Comments about American Meadows Spring Starflower Bulb Mix:

I put them in flower bed borders and the lawn, sun and shade. I think they all came up! Mostly light blue and white flowers in the group. They are much later than crocuses and the leaves are fairly thick, so good for lawns if only if you're okay to mow around them.

            Q & A

            Plant With These:

            USDA Hardiness Planting Zones

To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.

            • If the coldest winter temperature expected in your area is -15°F (zone 5) then any plants rated zones 3-5 will survive the winter temperatures in your area.
            • If you live in very warm winter areas (zones 9-11) plants with zones 3-4 ratings are not recommended. The lack of freezing winter temperatures do not provide a time for winter dormancy (rest).
