(10-14" tall) The Ultraviolet Bulb Collection combines
two spring essentials for one dazzling display.
The color palette is one of pure harmony, creating a continuum of purple
hues. 'Purple Prince' Tulip opens first, with gently scalloped petals topping
strong stems that stand up to wind and rain. 'Blue Jacket' Hyacinth follows
soon after, drawing pollinators to the garden.
Easy to grow in beds and borders and well-suited to life in a container,
this pair provides a simple solution to creating unity between the garden and
patio. Plant the bulbs en masse to create a dramatic display. Select a planting
location with full to partial sun and well-draining soil. This pair is hardy in
zones 3 through 8. Allow the foliage to mature and die down naturally after
blooming to nourishes bulbs for next season's blooms.
Our Ultraviolet Bulb Collection is roughly 3' x 3' if planted together and contains 37 plants:
1. Purple Prince Single Early Tulip - 25 Bulbs
2. Blue Jacket Hyacinth - 12 Bulbs
*Not all plants will be in bloom at the same time, as depicted on the illustration. Plants are subject to change due to availability. If we make substitutions, we feature plants with similar attributes suitable to the garden/collection design.
