(36-48" tall x 12-24” wide) ‘Wyoming’ Canna Lily is a study in contrasts that provides dramatic color and structure. Upright, lance-shaped foliage with rich hues offers a unique architecture and bold presence. Canna fit into a variety of garden styles, from cottage plantings to formal patios – plant in large groupings for big impact. Plants also perform well in containers, bringing height and privacy to terraces and courtyards. Deadhead plants throughout the summer to keep cannas blooming their strongest. Canna indica has been cultivated in tropical America for centuries and was one of the earliest domesticated plants in the Americas. Cannas are easy to grow and widely adaptable. They prefer rich, well-drained soil, plenty of water, and sunny locations. Cannas are hardy in zones 7-10. In cooler regions, they can be grown as annuals, or brought indoors over winter before  the first frost. Resistant to deer browsing.
