Plant the Vintage Ruffles Bearded Iris Collection in a location where you can appreciate the delicate beauty of the unique cultivars in this collection. The silky raspberry-tinged falls of 'Care to Dance' has pale standards or upper petals for stylish contrast. Complement these blooms with the ivory hues of re-blooming 'Total Recall' and the stoic wine-colored beauty of 'Silken Trim'. 'Society Page' has soft pink ruffled petals that add a petticoat-like effect. Also re-blooming, 'Champagne Elegance' brings sweet fragrance and soft color to the mix. Be sure to cut a few stems for long-lasting flower arrangements indoors. Plants arrive as rhizomes with clipped foliage. The rhizome is a fleshy root that grows perpendicular to the foliage. Leaving the trimmed foliage in place, set rhizomes so that the foliage stands upright and the rhizome lays horizontally across the soil. Bury the rhizome just deep enough so that the top is showing through the soil surface.
Vintage Ruffles Bearded Iris Collection includes 5 or 15 bulbs (rhizomes) total, featuring one or three of each:
Society Page Bearded Iris
