Ballard Operator (Seed Packet Filler): | Shelburne, VT

We are looking for an entry-level machinist/mechanic who would enjoy working on and with a 100-year-old seed-filling machine. Prior warehouse experience is a plus. This position requires high attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy, and basic computer skills. The candidate must be reliable and possess the ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand for 6+ hours. The pay starts at $17.00 per hour, with the potential for an increase based on in-house metrics. Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7am - 3:30pm

Customer Contact Training Manager: | Shelburne, VT (open to hybrid)

The ongoing growth of our company relies upon an excellent customer experience, and you will play a critical role in helping our Contact Center drive the company’s success. You have a passion for educating not only our new hires, but our year-round team by leading small group trainings and in developing training resources. While gardening experience isn’t required, it will assist you in your role of helping our team plan our customer’s dream gardens. You will excel in an understanding of our systems, products, and continued gardening education. You care about the small details which make a big impact and will support the Contact Center as they work on continuous improvement efforts. You are constantly pushing yourself and your team to improve, ensuring that we’re a leader in direct-to-consumer gardening.

Digital Content Producer  | Shelburne, VT (open to hybrid)

Our Digital Content Producer will play a key role in creating and delivering engaging, inspiring, and educational content across our range of digital channels. This responsibility requires someone who is creative and can create, manage, and deliver digital content using a range of techniques. You will publish across multiple digital channels, including websites, social media, and email. You will ensure our digital presence supports and enhances our business offering and delivers our messages effectively. The role will support the Content Marketing Manager in executing the digital content strategy.

We’re seeking a collaborative self-starter with a sunny disposition and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate has a natural ability with both words and images. A visual portfolio and writing sample are required for application.

Associate Digital Merchandiser | Shelburne, VT (open to remote)

You are excited to dive into the world of wildflower seeds, perennial plants, bulbs, and seed packets. You may not be a trained horticulturalist but have an appreciation for gardening. You are ready to help our customers create their dream gardens and wildflower meadows. You care about the small details which make a big impact and directly supports our customers’ success in their garden. You thrive as a collaborator, will support Category Managers as they drive the overall business goals and have open communication with our Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service departments.

Technology Director | Shelburne, VT (open to remote)

As a key member of our Leadership Team, this role requires a bit of a tech unicorn – someone who has the vision and skill to continue to make technology across the entire business fuel our growth. You have measurable experience in both E-commerce as well as integrated ERP systems. You understand system architecture as well the various tools and connectors that keep it all talking.

  • Phone/Video interviews with HR and hiring managers
  • For all on-site jobs (warehouse or greenhouse) candidates must adhere to same guidelines as our existing staff when entering the building for job shadow/interviews

Administrative Staff:

  • Have been sent home to work remote until we're able to safely re-open the office
  • Are able to utilize the office if necessary but must adhere to on-site working guidelines

Warehouse/Greenhouse Staff working on-site:

  • Anyone working on-site (including Administrative staff) must be fully vaccinated prior to their first day work*
  • Anyone entering our facilities must take a daily COVID-19 health evaluation
  • Check-in with Safety Officer daily regarding any questions or concerns
  • Adhere to all tracing and quarantine policies as outlined by the CDC

Cleaning and sanitation of stations, commonly touched surfaces, and properly washing hands when in common spaces
