Now available in an array of pinks, reds, and purples, traditional bright red "Bee Balm" has been treasured for its beauty, medicinal uses, and pollinator-attracting powers for generations. The spectacular crown-shaped flowers are favorites of hummingbirds and butterflies. Already well-known to the Native Americans, this gorgeous bloom was one of the first wildflowers to be adopted into the perennial gardens of the early settlers. Since then, there have been wonderful hybrids of the famous red, and also the pinkish variety often called "Oswego Tea." Plant Bee Balm in full sun with plenty of moisture. And be sure the stems have good air circulation to avoid powdery mildew.
