The award-winning ‘Little Business’ Reblooming Daylily will energize your garden with striking blossoms – which just happen to be a hummingbird’s favorite color! With a compact form, this is a great choice for small low-maintenance gardens. The eye-catching 3-inch flowers are saturated raspberry red – each with a lime green throat and yellow anthers. Its wide grass-like foliage provides graceful texture in the garden. By the end of the season, ‘Little Business’ will bloom again, adding those warm red tones to the autumn garden. (Hemerocallis)

USDA Hardiness Planting Zones

To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.

  • If the coldest winter temperature expected in your area is -15°F (zone 5) then any plants rated zones 3-5 will survive the winter temperatures in your area.
  • If you live in very warm winter areas (zones 9-11) plants with zones 3-4 ratings are not recommended. The lack of freezing winter temperatures do not provide a time for winter dormancy (rest).

Plant Information
‘Little Business’ Reblooming Daylily is the winner of the American Daylily Society Annie T. Giles Award in 1975 for “Best Small Flowering Daylily Cultivar.” Once it’s growing in your garden or a container, you’ll understand why this compact cultivar is so popular with Daylily enthusiasts. With long arching foliage, a resilient nature, and charismatic flowers, Daylilies are a great investment for easy gardening. Each stem is packed with flower buds that bloom for one day (hence the name Daylily). Butterflies and hummingbirds are attracted to their warm, sunny colors. Native to China, Japan, and Korea, Hemerocallis grow from rhizomes and are famously hardy and easy to grow, making them a popular perennial around the world. Deer-resistant and rabbit-resistant Daylilies are excellent for mass planting and filling in a low-maintenance garden with color and texture. Happiest in sunny sites with average to poor soil, they will spread over time and can be divided approximately every 3-5 years. Toxic to pets if ingested.
