Forsythia

Plant one of the earliest and showiest punches of spring color

Golden yellow Forsythia is always a welcome sight in the late winter/ early spring landscape. This tough and reliable deciduous plant works well as a hedge when planted close together, and can also be easily shaped into stand-alone forms. Famed for its arched branches and pleasant fragrance, Forsythia adds a fast-growing punch of color when it's needed most, and rounds out the season with dark green foliage. Excellent at erosion control and deer resistant.
