Blooming in late spring, Starring also combines well with Oriental Poppies, Peonies, and Larkspur (Delphinium). After blooming, the strap-like green foliage will continue to add interest all summer long. Plant rhizomes (bulbs) in a sunny spot with well-draining soil and fertilize in spring and fall. Pinch back spent blooms to keep things tidy and cut the flower spikes back when flowering is finished. Your Bearded Iris will increase with the years, providing years of easy-care enjoyment.
