There were no bulbs in the package. Called to replace, and the replacement also had no live bulbs. Totally unacceptable poor quality.

The roots all leafed out very nicely, then they all disappeared by June. I don't know if they'll return next year or not.

I received my root stock and I was a little worried that they would grow. So far everything is looking good. Sturdy stock with pretty green foliage. I will update later on the progression of my Larkspur.

I ALWAYS LIKE THE PLANTS I GET FROM YOU. THEY ALL DO MUCH BETTER THE SECOND YEAR IN THE GROUND I ONLY BUY PERENIALS. SO FAR I HAVE ORDERED TWO YEARS IN A ROW.

No growth or bloom to date!

Comments about American Meadows Dwarf Larkspur:

I'm still waiting for some growth to appear on the Larkspur or wild Delphinium. I will wait to recommend until some life appears.

I always buy and recomend American Meadows because they always stand behind their plants. This years Dahlias have turned out to be great and well worth the wait!

Great job and outstand customer service!

Comments about American Meadows Dwarf Larkspur:

I have been happy with many of my purchases from American Meadows so it is a pity you asked me to review this particular one. Root stock was tiny and I was not surprised not one grew.

              Q & A

              Plant With These:

              USDA Hardiness Planting Zones

To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.

              • If the coldest winter temperature expected in your area is -15°F (zone 5) then any plants rated zones 3-5 will survive the winter temperatures in your area.
              • If you live in very warm winter areas (zones 9-11) plants with zones 3-4 ratings are not recommended. The lack of freezing winter temperatures do not provide a time for winter dormancy (rest).

              Find Your Planting Zone:
