Plant Information

The Easy Care Pre-Planned Garden includes 27 perennial plants that will grow and flourish with little help from the gardener. While you will need to provide water early on if there's little rainfall, once these plants get themselves established, they'll be off and running on their own. Mature plants will fill a 14 x 6' rectangular bed or 84 square feet of planting space.

Includes: 1 'Full Moon' Coreopsis (Tickseed), 1 'Goblin' Gaillardia (Blanket Flower), 2 'Goldsturm' Black Eyed Susan (Rudbeckia), 2 'Blue Hill' Meadow Sage (Salvia), 1 'Autumn Joy' Sedum (Stonecrop), 2 'David' Phlox, 2 'Purple Dome' New England Aster, 1 'Summer Berries' Yarrow (Achillea), 2 'Magnus' Echinacea (Coneflower), 1 'Becky' Shasta Daisy (Leucanthemum), 3 'Stella D'Oro' Reblooming Daylily (Hemerocallis), 3 'Original Orange' Daylily (Hemerocallis), 1 'Rapido Blue' Bellflower (Campanula), 2 Hardy Geranium (Cranesbill), and 3 'Alcazar' Red Hot Poker (Kniphofia).

Comes with detailed care instructions and 3 diagrams illustrating correct layouts for planting in rectangular, island, and corner-shaped beds. We do reserve the right to make substitutions; however, our replacement plants are always very similar.

Q & A

Plant With These:

USDA Hardiness Planting Zones

To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.

  • If the coldest winter temperature expected in your area is -15°F (zone 5) then any plants rated zones 3-5 will survive the winter temperatures in your area.
  • If you live in very warm winter areas (zones 9-11) plants with zones 3-4 ratings are not recommended. The lack of freezing winter temperatures do not provide a time for winter dormancy (rest).
