We designed our Easy Care Pre-Planned Garden to give you striking, colorful flowers that look beautiful together without making too many demands on your time. Although these are the easiest-to-care-for plants we know of, there’s been no compromise in the looks department! Dramatic blooms deliver interest throughout the summer season. USDA Hardiness Planting Zones
To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low
temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.
If the coldest winter temperature expected in your area is -15°F (zone 5) then any plants rated zones 3-5 will
survive the winter temperatures in your area.
If you live in very warm winter areas (zones 9-11) plants with zones 3-4 ratings are not recommended. The lack
of freezing winter temperatures do not provide a time for winter dormancy (rest).
Our Easy Care Pre-Planned Garden includes expertly selected perennial plants that will grow and flourish with only a little help from the gardener. While you will need to provide water early on, especially if there's little rainfall, once these plants are established, they'll be off and running on their own. Sit back and relax while your garden flourishes around you for years to come.

Red Hot Poker Alcazar can be grown in zones 5 and 6 by providing winter protection by mulching or tying the leaves together so the crown of the plant is covered.
