'Blue Chip Jr' Butterfly Bush is a true dwarf Buddleia with violet-blue blooms and silver-gray foliage. Growing to about 2 feet tall, it’s a great choice for containers and small spaces, or for creating a vibrant and lasting groundcover. Where 'Blue Chip Jr' impresses the most, however, is with its abundance of fragrant non-stop blooms that call in both butterflies and hummingbirds. 18-24" tall x 24-30" wide. 'Blue Chip Jr' is a standout dwarf Butterfly Bush that produces abundant blooms from early summer deep into the fall. Highly fragrant and rich with nectar, the spiky indigo flowers are like ambrosia to butterflies, who flock to the plant under full sun. Many older varieties of Butterfly Bushes (Buddleia) have earned their long-held reputation as large and unruly spreading shrubs for good reason, but dwarf cultivars like 'Blue Chip Jr' answer back beautifully with a compact shape, low seed production and a non-invasive habit.
