Description
(12-14" tall) 'Candy Prince' Single Early Tulip is easy to grow and even easier to love. The soft pink hue makes color blending a breeze. Plant in mixed drifts with other purple, pink, and yellow tulips or among hyacinth. For a more natural appearance, plant bulbs in large masses, rather than in straight lines. Plant bulbs in autumn about a month before the ground freezes. Choose a site in full sun to partial shade - Tulips produce the best color in sunny spots, but flowers last longer with some shade. Make sure the planting site has well-draining soil. Chilled bulbs can also be forced for springtime decor or to grow tulips in climates outside hardiness zones 3 to 8.
