How do we use your location?
Knowing your location helps us recommend plants that will thrive in your climate, based on your Growing Zone.
When most people say crocus, this is the one they think of. Among the larger Dutch crocus group, most are solid colored, except this standout. The striped crocus has been the favorite for years. A planting of this one alone can be a real stunning display, or you can simply add these to you mixture to have more of the favorite.
As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. See our shipping information page for approximate ship dates and more detailed information. If you have any questions, please call Customer Service at (802) 227-7200 or contact us by email or chat.

"Protect the bed from squirrels and block rabbit access when flowering."
"Really stunningly beautiful and reliable. In our garden, blooms just as the wild snow crocus are finishing up. The Orange monarch snow crocus are the last to bloom here, so pickwick and orange monarch are on show at the same time and in my opinion look incredible together (the yellow-orange-gold of the Orange monarchs complements the stamens of the pickwick). I would regale you with photos, but this platform doesn't allow images from my mobile. To me, the pinstripes remind me of clothing from times gone by, of general dry goods stores and telegraphs and "iron horses. " So I find them very old fashioned and dapper. :) Naughty squirrels sometimes chew spring bulb blooms for sport, so if you have a lot of tree or ground squirrels you may want to take protective or deterrent measures. The foliage that remains for months after the blooms is also attractive, like a gracefully arching, small mounding sedge grouping when planted en masse. Then in the summer heat it browns, crisps up and dissipates (at least in our high desert dryness), leaving no trace of where they were. So take a photo if you think that you might forget their location! ;) These are my favorite of the large Dutch crocus."
"I was surprised how large these blooms get and the colors are so vivid. I'm really glad I got these."
"You need a lot of them to make them look good. They are the early bloomers, the ones I wait for at the end of winter. They are great with white ones. Only issue is when you have a hot day, they are done immediately."
"easy to plant and reliable. One of the first to bloom in the year, just that makes them amazing."
"I planted these along the edges & around shrubs & perenerials. They were the first to come up after a below zero month of temperature. A beautiful sight to see. Big blooms that lasted."
"I bought these totally on impulse because they were on sale. Can't resist a sale, can I? With no plan, I then had no idea where to plant them. I just stuck them in around my front border here and there, gathered in groups of three or four. Why, oh, why didn't I buy more?! I love love love these little guys! The purple stripes on the shimmery white are so pretty. What a way to welcome spring! I haven't actually counted to be sure they all came up, but they seem to be everywhere."
