Overview
Sparaxis Mix, also known as a Harlequin flowers, bring colorful trumpet-shaped blooms with contrasting star-shaped throats to the early summer garden. Use them to create a carpet of jewel-toned color and remember that although they need full sun, they come into bloom before every tree has completely leafed out, so you may have more site choices than you think. Harlequin flowers are fairly easy to grow and at only 10” high, are perfect for borders, rock gardens, and containers. (Sparaxis)

Description

Sparaxis, or the Harlequin Flower, is a big favorite in California, where it adds incredible color to gardens. The flowers form on thin stems which sometimes need support, so you might plant them alongside stronger short plants so they can thread up through before they bloom. This is yet another South African bulb that brings stunning color to our gardens.
