Among the most fragrant begonias, the double blooms fill shade gardens and patios with a delicate sweet perfume. Thick leaves are beautifully sculpted, adding loads of texture to the garden. Description
(10-12” tall) ‘Sunny Dream’ Begonia is the perfect plant for shade gardens and containers. Plant in masses beneath understory trees or line the porch with flowing containers. For a jump start on summer, pot tubers indoors in late winter and move plants outdoors after the threat of frost has passed. While begonias thrive in containers, they can be planted in the garden and are easy to grow in rich, well-drained soil. Plants do not tolerate frost. In zones 8 or cooler, dig plants in fall or move containers indoors, and store dry in a cool dark location over winter.
