Lily Flowered Tulip Mix
Description
This mix includes great solids and bi-colors. The white one with red flame is the famous one called Marilyn, the orange ones are Ballerina, and of course, the purple and white ones are May Time.
About Lily-Flowered Tulips: If you've grown them before, you know all about it. If not, here are the facts:
These unique tulips bloom late, at the end of the tulip season. They're tall, compared to most, with thin, but large blooms as you can see in the photos. But when they bloom, that's only the beginning. Whether you leave them in the garden, or cut them for a spectacular arrangement, the show goes on for days, sometimes weeks. The blooms lengthen, then begin to open wide. After a few days, they are almost flat, like a huge pointed-petaled poppy. It's a fabulous finale for the tulip season, and without lily-flowered tulips, you'll miss it all.
