Overview
Anaconda Love Bearded Iris is a striking, two-toned Iris with rosy pink ruffled standards (upright petals) and deep raspberry-colored falls (lower petals), snipped and striped with a silvery white. Bright orange beards make this flower glow. Lightly fragrant, at 23-25" tall, they make a perfect addition to a border. Deer and rabbit resistant, they make great cut flowers too! (Iris germanica)

Description

18-24" tall x 18" wide. Anaconda Love Bearded Iris (Iris germanica) is a pure delight with large two-toned flowers on sturdy 23-25" stems. Rosy pink standards wave above beet purple falls splashed in silver for a unique look. Tangerine beards peek out from the rosy center. Lightly fragrant, this sturdy bloomer is a great addition to the late spring garden. Plant with Tulips, Daffodils, and Allium for a unique look. Also great in a rock garden where the soil drains well. Fertilize once in spring with bulb food and again in fall with bone meal. Once established and after blooming, Anaconda Love is a water-thrifty, deer and rabbit resistant perennial that will multiply and increase over time. Every 3-4 years, in August, gently dig up the rhizomes (bulbs), separate and re-plant or trade with neighbors. Bearded Iris trading is not to be missed!
