Cliff Goldenrod will brighten gardens and meadowscapes with arching branches of golden flowers. Blooming from late summer to late fall, it is a magnet for many pollinators and a butterfly favorite. This resilient native species provides color and texture all season long. Goldenrod is both drought-tolerant and deer resistant. It can tolerate light or partial shade, but will perform and flower best in full sun. (Solidago drummondii)

Cliff Goldenrod is an easy-to-grow perennial native to Central North America. It is found growing along cliffs and ledges, especially in the Ozark Mountains. Cliff Goldenrod is low maintenance in the garden. Growing up to 3 feet tall and 3 feet wide, it’s a great choice for a rock wall, ledge, patio edge, or any place its arching form can be appreciated. Cliff Goldenrod is well-behaved and doesn’t spread aggressively.
