Overview
Coral Crème Drop™ Phlox blooms from early summer to fall with a profusion of vibrant coral-pink blooms. A dark rose colored eye adds depth to blossoms that stand atop vigorous, mildew-resistant foliage. Enchanting fragrance and long sturdy stems make for a delightful cut flower. Attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees to the garden. (Phlox paniculata ‘Ditomdre’)

Description

18-24” tall x 12-18” wide. Garden Phlox provide much-needed color during the heat of summer. A member of the Candy Store® series of garden phlox, Coral Crème Drop™ Phlox displays the superior disease resistance for which this series is prized. Compact growth and dense branching yield an abundance of blooms. Phlox are quintessential to the perennial border and summer workhorses among cottage plantings and meadows. Plant in rich, well-drained soils and water regularly in the first growing season to establish a deep root system. As with all phlox, it is best to avoid overhead watering. Plants benefit from deadheading to prolong flowering and can be cut back by one-half in late spring or/early summer to encourage more compact plants. Divided phlox every 3-5 years in spring or fall as needed.
