Description
'Deschutes' Bearded Iris has softly ruffled blue petals with purple-veining. At 38" tall, it’s a great fit for a perennial bed where it can complement the shapes and colors of Peonies, Lupine, Allium, and Oriental Poppies. It's also one of the most floriferous varieties, producing up to 7 flowers per stalk! Place in a sunny spot in with free draining soil. Plant the rhizomes slightly above the soil line, and keep moist as the plants establish. Cut or snap off spent blooms and cut finished stalks off at the base. Enjoy the vertical sword-like foliage as added garden texture. Deer and rabbit resistant.
