While many peonies are known for their pleasing scent, the Fragrant Peony Collection includes the sweetest smelling varieties we know! 'Festiva Maxima' with its double-white blooms dashed with crimson smells divine. 'Bartzella', an Itoh hybrid, is famous for its lemon-scented flowers. And 'Pink Hawaiian Coral' is an award-winning, semi-double bloomer noted for its fragrance and notched petals. Plant these where you can smell them!

Description

Our Fragrant Peony Collection is made up of three of the sweetest peonies, all celebrated for their exceptional scents and gorgeous blooms. Peonies are long-lived plants that can last for a century or more when planted in home gardens, making them a well-known species in the flower world. Planted in full sun, peonies produce petal-packed blooms that are perfect for cutting and enjoying in a vase or bouquet.

This collection includes two types of peonies: 'Festiva Maxima' and 'Pink Hawaiian Coral' are herbaceous (also called garden) peonies, which quickly grow into a bush-like form, while 'Bartzella' is an Itoh peony, with plentiful, dinner-plate sized flowers and a slightly more-compact shape. All peonies are deer resistant.
