Overview
Celebrate good blooms with ‘Champagne Bubbles Pink’ Iceland Poppy. From each leafless stem pops one divine rosy pink flower with crinkly paper-like petals. Inside each flower, yellow-tipped white stamens shoot up like bubbles escaping a champagne bottle. Its strong fragrance and bold colors are extremely attractive to bumble bees and honeybees. A whimsical look and a rugged nature make this one of the best poppies for the garden. An excellent, long lasting cut flower, too.

Description
Like the celebratory pop of a bottle, ‘Champagne Bubbles Pink’ Iceland Poppy (Papaver nudicaule 'Champagne Bubbles Pink') is a short-lived perennial in the cooler regions of zones 1 to 4. In the warmer climates of zones 5 to 10, it’s more like an annual. Native to Asian mountain areas and north into Arctic regions, this is a very cold-hardy perennial. Preferring full sun and rich, evenly moist soil, it struggles in hot and humid conditions. Iceland Poppies attract a variety of pollinators, and they are deer- and rabbit-resistant. It brings whimsy and color to alpine gardens, rock gardens, mixed border fronts, and containers.
