Butterflies flock to gorgeous, long-blooming ‘Euphoria™ Ruby’ Joe Pye Weed. Full-size deep mauve flowers on long upright stems bloom earlier than most Joe Pye Weeds and even continue into the fall, offering a reliable food source for hungry pollinators. Coarsely serrated dark green leaves grow to 12 inches long beneath clumps of vanilla-scented flower clusters. Compact and hardy, this native cultivar maxes out under 3 feet tall, great for small spaces or the front of a garden.

‘Euphoria™ Ruby’ Joe Pye Weed (Eupatorium purpureum ‘FLOREUPRE1' PP31668) is a beautiful native cultivar that will turn your garden into a pollinator paradise. Once blooms fade in late fall, they give way to winter seed heads. The Joe Pye Weed (Eupatorium purpureum) species is native to Missouri and thrives in moist ground, along waterways, and on wooded slopes. While ‘Euphoria™ Ruby’ Joe Pye Weed tolerates clay soil, it prefers moist soil and open areas to grow. Butterflies and other pollinators visit ‘Euphoria™ Ruby’ Joe Pye Weed all season long—and well into the fall, thanks to its long-blooming qualities.
