Description
24-36" tall x 24-30" wide. KICKIN® Pink Chiffon Aster (Symphyotrichum novae-angliae) was selected for its compact growth habit and abundance of blooms, it’s perfect for adding late-season color to containers and along the front of sunny beds. Be sure to add a drift of ‘Pink Chiffon’ to the butterfly garden. Also lovely in rock gardens or naturalized in meadows and among wildflower plantings. A selection of the North American native aster, 'Pink Chiffon' is easy to grow and performs best with a moist rich soil. Plants tolerate clay soils and are resistant to deer and rabbits. Give KICKIN® 'Pink Chiffon' Aster plenty of sunshine and room to grow. Good air circulation keeps foliage mildew-free. The daisy-like blooms of 'Pink Chiffon' are semi-double and have a golden eye, making a lovely cut flower. Plant among fall-blooming grasses and broad-leaved perennials for textural contrast.
