Overview
Grab the camera! Photogenic’ Bearded Iris in bloom is a sight to behold. Richly undulating shades of rose shift to violet centers in the upright petals (standards), then reverse and move from violet back to rose in the lower petals (falls). It’s a symphony of harmonic shading that will turn heads at bloom time. (Iris germanica)

Description
24-36" tall x 18" wide. The refined color shading of Bearded Iris ‘Photogenic’ makes this a garden showstopper. Peach to rose to violet and back again, the tangerine-orange beards set it aglow. Blooms in the summer, so it’s a perfect companion planted with some of the earlier blooming Iris. Plant in a full sun to partial shade location in average, well-drained soil. It will spread and multiply over the years. Every few years, dig them up after blooming, clean and divide them for replanting, sharing and creating more Iris beds. Drought tolerant, critter resistant and pollinator friendly – what’s not to like?
