Description

In spring, Milkweed's foliage feeds Monarch butterfly larvae, and the summer flowers provide nectar for a wide array of pollinators. Summer brings intriguing, fragrant Wild Bergamot flowers that are irresistible to bees, hummingbirds, and butterflies. For the finale, Blue Vervain, Joe Pye Weed and Aster provide essential nectar sources from late summer into fall. These deer-resistant, native plants also make lovely, fragrant cut flowers.
