Description
Prairie Mallow or also known as Sidalcea are a beautiful sun loving perennial. Its blooms represent mini hollyhocks. Tall spike stems that blossoms medium sized cupped pink flowers. Best to be planted in well-draining soil with lots of sun. Even though they love sun, make sure there is a constant water source, Prairie Mallow doesn’t like to dry out. Once the have bloomed make sure to cut the past dead blossoms to encourage re-blooming later in the summer. Plant in cottage style gardens, mass plantings and in wildflower meadows. Butterflies and hummingbirds love Prairie Mallow!
