Wild Angel Bearded Iris
Description
(42" tall x 12-24" wide) 'Wild Angel' Bearded Iris dances in the mid to late spring garden with a halo of white ruffled petals over wildly colorful falls (lower petals). Edged in lemon-yellow, washed with warm violet, this amazing Iris is a must have! In the back of a perennial bed, it will harmonize with other flowers. As a focal point, it can mark a path, edge a deck, or blend beautifully with other Irises. Consider planting it with Peonies, roses, Oriental poppies, and Lupine. These easy-care Bearded Iris are simple to grow, deer and rabbit resistant. Plant them in a sunny location in enriched garden soil that drains freely. Plant the rhizomes with the top of the rhizome just above the soil line. Water evenly as the plants establish. Thereafter this drought-tolerant garden hero will naturalize over the years, creating masses of low-care flowers.
