Create a unique splash of color in your meadow with Cosmos Seashells. Each petal is shaped like a seashell and will ignite the garden in just weeks after planting. The gorgeous, contrasting colors and unique shape are a true conversation starter and must-have for the wildflower gardener! Like all Cosmos, this variety is extremely easy to grow, attracts hummingbirds and butterflies, and makes for fantastic cut bouquets. All of the seed we handle at American Meadows is non-GMO, neonicotinoid-free and guaranteed to grow. Annual.

Cosmos are blooming

"I have sown the Cosmos seeds everywhere. . . the yellow are most prolific but at various times, the pink is blooming along with some white. . . . I am trying for an English garden look and the cosmos have definitely helped."

I love Cosmos!

"The seed was great!"

Don't Be Seed Stingy If You Want Blooms!

"Broadcast planted with Blue Flax seed hoping to have a colorful, scented border for a wedding reception. Purple clover has taken over the bed, shading out all cosmos and flax seedlings. Follow American Meadows instructions to eliminate existing weeds (and clover) and use lots of seed to produce the bountiful blooms seen in the catalog images. And don't try to "save seed" for later - use it all and buy new next planting season! All lessons learned from my failures."
