Mexican Sunflower brings a profusion of firey-orange color to the meadow with gorgeous green, fuzzy foliage. It's zinnia-like flowers and sunflower height attract butterflies and hummingbirds, making it perfect for a pollinator garden. Mexican Sunflowers may be smaller than traditional sunflowers but the abundance of bright blooms more than makes up for their size! Amazing as cut flowers, and deer resistant. All of the seed we handle at American Meadows is non-GMO, neonicotinoid-free and guaranteed to grow. Annual.

Mexican Sunflowers are not a true sunflower but instead a relative of sunflowers and zinnias.  The tall 40-60" zinnia like flowers will attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.  Plant them in a sunny spot in the meadow or back border of your garden and they will bloom that season. Try dead-heading spent blooms to encourage a longer bloom time. If done correctly, Mexican Sunflowers can bloom from June to frost. A lovely addition to any meadow or garden.
