Description
Planting Pacific Northwest Wildflower Seed Bombs is one of the simplest ways to add natives to your backyard habitat. If you want to help pollinators, nectar-rich blooms are the way to go. These balls contain seeds from 18 different blooming annual and perennial plants, including many that are native to the Northwest region like: Chinese Houses (Collinsia heterophylla), Evening Primrose (Oenothera lamarckiana), California Bluebell (Phacelia campanularia), Russell Lupine (Lupinus polyphyllus) and Farewell to Spring (Clarkia amoena). Sow seed bombs in spring after danger of frost, or in fall as a dormant planting to sprout the following spring. With three types of compost and clay, seed bombs can stand up to rainy winter weather while nourishing seeds for germination. Two one-inch Wildflower Seed Bombs can plant one square foot, or use more for a dense meadow-like planting.
