Description
With the Southwest DIY Seed Bomb Kit, you can assemble 50 to 75 seed bombs a little less than 1” in diameter. Wildflower seeds, including beloved natives like Prairie Aster (Symphyotrichum ericoides), Desert Marigold (Baileya multiradiata) and Indian blanket (Gaillardia pulchella) are mixed with clay and three kinds of compost, then rolled into nickel-sized balls. Seed bombs can be planted in either spring or fall in a sunny area. Want earlier flowers in spring? Plant seed bombs in fall so plants can germinate at winter’s end and then bloom more quickly. Seeds are for both perennial and annual flowers and will add color to the garden all season and for years afterward. Two one-inch Wildflower Seed Bombs can plant one square foot, or use more for a dense meadow-like planting.
