Description
Southwest Wildflower Seed Bombs are comprised of clay and three types of compost to nourish seeds and prevent birds from consuming flower seed prior to germination. Annual wildflower seeds create show-stopping color in their first year, while perennial seeds make your garden grow and bloom better each year thereafter. Each seed bomb has 5-25 seeds from 17 unique varieties, including native species like: Arizona Lupine (Lupinus arizonicus), Arroyo Lupine (Lupinus succulentus), Blazing Star (Liatris spp.), White Evening Primrose (Oenothera pallida) and Showy Pink Evening Primrose (Oenothera speciosa). Plant in spring as soon as the ground can be worked and rainfall is forecast, or plant in fall after surrounding natives have gone dormant. Seeds will germinate and bloom the following spring. Two one-inch Wildflower Seed Bombs can plant one square foot, or use more for a dense meadow-like planting.
