American Meadows Supports KidsGardening

At American Meadows, we believe in Doing Good Through Gardening. We feel that the joy of digging in the dirt is an endeavor that benefits people of all ages, and helps to make the world a brighter, more beautiful place. That’s why our company is proud to support KidsGardening, a non-profit based in Burlington, Vermont.

The mission of KidsGardening is to create opportunities for kids to play, learn, and grow through gardening, engaging their natural curiosity and wonder. They offer inspiration and support to educators and families by way of grants, original educational resources and activities, and by cultivating a community of practice. In 2019, KidsGardening reached an estimated 1,000,000 kids across the United States through our grant programs, contests, curriculum, and activities!

Proud Sponsor Of The 2021 Youth Garden Grant

American Meadows is committed to getting more kids engaged in learning through the garden, and we are proud to support the 2021 KidsGardening Youth Garden Grant.

Beginning with 50 awards in 1982, KidsGardening’s Youth Garden Grant is the oldest and longest-running award of its kind. This award is designed to build capacity for school and youth educational garden projects that enhance the quality of life for students and their communities. The award is open to any nonprofit, public or private school, or youth program in the United States planning a new garden program or expanding an established one that serves at least 15 youth between the ages of 3 and 18. For the 2021 grant, applications are accepted through December 18, 2020. Learn more at
