Columbine Seeds

Columbine Seeds

These native, nodding wildflowers are hummingbird favorites that adapt to many conditions

Columbine, also known as Aquilegia, are striking native wildflowers with nodding blooms that slowly come to life and face the sky as they open. Often seen in disturbed soils and woodland settings, these 2-3’ tall plants are tolerant of a variety of growing conditions. Plant Columbine in sun, part sun, or shade in rock gardens, woodland gardens, or traditional beds. Hummingbirds are known to be frequent visitors to these tough, yet delicate flowers.
