Flax is a hardy native wildflower that produces charming, five-petaled blooms growing 1-2’ tall. Planted in full sun, this flower can take high heat and limited rainfall without holding back on the blooms. Choose a well-drained site, with dry, rocky, or nutrient-poor soil, as Flax prefers these conditions to soils that are too rich. In terms of overall blooms, this plant delivers with abundance! Both varieties are prolific and colorful, producing consistent results all season long in the garden or meadow.
