Liatris, also called Blazing Star or Gayfeather, are upright wildflowers with spiky purple blooms that are almost electric in color. A tough and resilient native, Liatris is long-blooming and easy to care for. Its late-summer blooms reappear reliably each season and are an important food source for many pollinmators, including butterflies and hummingbirds. All of the seed we carry at American Meadows is non-GMO, neonicotinoid-free, and guaranteed to grow.
