Like sunshine and blue skies, our Lance Leaf Coreopsis & Blue Flax Combo is the perfect pair of easy-to-grow native wildflowers. Both are easy to grow, are known for pest and disease resistance, and will spread over time. Great for attracting butterflies and bees, especially in areas with dry or poor soil. At American Meadows, all seeds are non-GMO, neonicotinoid-free and guaranteed to grow. Perennial. (Coreopsis lanceolate and Linum lewisii)
To determine if a plant is sufficiently cold hardy, the USDA created numbered zones indicating winter low
temperatures; the lower the zone number the colder the winter.
If the coldest winter temperature expected in your area is -15°F (zone 5) then any plants rated zones 3-5 will
survive the winter temperatures in your area.
If you live in very warm winter areas (zones 9-11) plants with zones 3-4 ratings are not recommended. The lack
of freezing winter temperatures do not provide a time for winter dormancy (rest).

Both wildflowers are easy to grow, bee friendly, and will spread over time. Plant in full to part sun locations. A great choice for dry areas and poor soil. Coreopsis is a key to colorful blooms in established meadows; its' clumps are very tough and increase rapidly with more flowers year after year. Blue Flax spreads and naturalizes easily in dry soils and sunny meadows, making it an excellent option for covering your hillsides with wildflowers.
