Beautiful and filled with purpose, Calendula is a great garden companion
why plant Calendula Seeds?
Calendula, aka Pot Marigold, is a beautiful plant both inside and out. A flower with many purposes, Calendula is edible, medicinal, pollinator-attracting, and popular both fresh and dried in bouquets. 1-2’ tall plants produce light-catching yellow and orange blooms that last from mid-summer through fall. Tolerating a variety of soils and quite happy in containers, Calendula prefers full sun. A great addition to the veggie garden, Calendula attracts beneficial bugs and can form a groundcover that suppresses weeds.
