Feed the bees with these low-growing natives that tolerate high heat
why plant Nemophila Seeds?
Nemophila is a charming, low-spreading wildflower native to California and grown successfully as an annual throughout the US. These 4-12” tall flowers are best planted in half-sun/ half-shade sites and are well-suited to dry, fast-draining soils, although they will also tolerate average soils. All varieties attract butterflies and bees with their nectar-filled blooms and are very tolerant of high-heat conditions. Choose Baby Blue Eyes for their pastel-hued petals, or Buffalo Eyes for their memorable white blooms, dotted with ‘5 Spots’ of purple.
