Description

Few flowers bloom in shade as exuberantly as tuberous begonias, and the double-flowered varieties in our Cascades In The Shade Begonia Collection are especially stunning. These hummingbird magnets bloom from summer to frost. 'Angelique' Begonia's romantic and sweetly fragrant blooms are blush pink, calling to mind a blooming apple tree in its finest glory. The lemon-yellow double blooms 'Sunny Dream' Fragrant Begonia bring sunshine and delicate fragrance to shady spots. The tropical hues of 'Splendide Ballerina' Apricot Cascading Begonia include soft apricot, warm coral pink, and lemon yellow. Plant the tubers 2" deep in full sun to part shade and well-drained soil. Although grown as an annual in zones 3-7, you can dig up the tubers in fall, store them indoors, and replant in spring, making them a wise investment.
