Description
Winter Buttercup or also known as Eranthis cilicica is best to be planted in the fall. These bulbs prefer moist soil, full sun to partial shade and places to naturalize. Great for woodland areas, In borders, rock gardens and under trees and shrubs. Once they have bloomed, let the foliage die back to allow the bulb to regenerate for the next season growth. If the Winter Buttercups are becoming overgrown or you would like to move them, the best time to dig up is late spring, just as the foliage dies back.
