Herald spring with the beauty of our Carefree Creeping Phlox Collection. In early spring, the dense mats of fine-textured bright green foliage burst into glorious bloom, with the foliage barely visible beneath the blanket of star-shaped flowers. Blooming for several weeks each spring, just when we're shaking off our winter coats, Creeping Phlox are carefree, hardy groundcovers that spread without becoming too aggressive. They're also an important early source of nectar for pollinators.
Creeping Phlox are perfect for complementing taller perennials such as Bearded Iris, Siberian Iris, or Garden Phlox, and lovely paired with taller spring-blooming bulbs such as Daffodils and Tulips. Deer resistant and drought tolerant once established.

As soon as your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email. You will receive a second email the day your order ships telling you how it has been sent. Some perennials are shipped as potted plants, some as perennial roots packed in peat. The ‘Plant Information’ section describes how that item will ship. All perennials and fall-planted bulbs are packaged to withstand shipping and are fully-guaranteed. Please open upon receipt and follow the instructions included.
Perennials and fall-planted bulbs are shipped at the proper planting time for your Growing Zone. Perennial and fall-planted bulb orders will arrive separately from seeds. If your order requires more than one shipment and all items are shipping to the same address, there is no additional shipping charge. "These little babies are thriving!! They didn't bloom the first year but they have grown to twice their original size and have soo many beautiful blooms! I can't wait to see what they will become. Phlox are great for the dry, rocky ground i have at my house."

"I am the other reviewer that got plants in the fall of 2022. I was so happy I ordered 1 more collection for spring. The order I got in spring was healthy and the plants are still alive in June, however they were definitely smaller than the ones I got in the fall. My guess is that they were not allowed to grow as long as the other ones. would I still order again? yeah, I love this collection, All plants but one survived the winter (one was killed by a squirrel, nothing to do with the american meadows). and I even got a few flowers :)."
