(12-18” tall x 12-15” wide) Full Bloom Double White Trillium makes a precious pure white accent against the slowly greening earth of early spring. Stems emerge from rhizomes in early spring and unfurl three ovate leaves, blooming with one pure white ruffled petal for each stem. After blooming, the flowers fade to a light pink, and the entire plant dies back to the ground by mid-summer. Full Bloom Trillium, with sophisticated, fully double blooms, will last longer than single cultivars. Also known as ‘Flore Pleno,’ reproducing through spreading rhizomes. Trillium prefers the moist, rich, slightly acidic soil of woodlands and stream valleys in shady spots. Be sure to mark where you have planted them so you can add to your spring ephemeral display with other beauties such as Virginia bluebells or winter aconite – or indeed, even more trillium. A must have for the plant collector as well as gardeners putting together an exciting woodland garden.

"Two and a half years ago I purchased 9 of these. Of the 9 only 4 sprouted but had mottled leaves. This year (2. 5 years later) only one has bloomed and it is a maroon/purple color! So disappointed - they were costly and I didn't even get the right trillium!"
"I ordered nine of the Flore Plano Trillium. They arrived in good condition and they were nice sized roots. I received tham on 5/12 and planted them on 5/13 and there is no sign of growth as if 6/9. In 2021 I ordered 6 of these. I don't recall if they grew into reconizable plants the first year, but by the second seasion I had 4 plants growing but not blooming. It is common forTrillium to be disturbed by the transplant and not even sprout the first year and I have many years of experience growing Trillium. The third year 2 were blossoming but were definitely not a double flower and the other two are a variety wiith motled foliage and have not bloomed. I sent photos and asked for a replacement but plants are only replaced within a year of receiving. I really want these but unlikely I will know what I have within a year of planting. If you buy Trilliums you are on your own to see what you get. You probably won't know within a year. I really want some of these so I will see what happens and will notify the company of what I have on May 13 next year. So my recommendation is buy if you are willing to take a chance."
"I bought these in the fall of 2022. Last year I didn't get any growth. This spring, they have all come up. My advice is to have patience."
"These are so pretty in the pics. I planted 12 and only 1 is growing. I'm so bummed!"
"I have years of experience with trillium. The rhizomes were not properly handled prior to shipping. . . the current year's shoots had been removed. There is some possibility the plants will grow next season but it is unlikely they will bloom even then. VERY disappointing from a supposed reliable source!"
"I bought several packs of these . I already have a few that have been blooming for years so I wanted to add more. Sadly, not one even sprouted."
"Of the three bulbs, only one was large enough to grow leaves. One was so small I nearly threw it away with the packing material. But, I am hopeful they will get stronger over this year and bloom next Spring. I have never seen this type of double-flower trillium before."
"I planted the root Trillium in early spring as directed and so far nothing has come up. . however while planting some other flowers, I found the roots have multiplied under the soil and look very healthy! Hoping for some blossoms during the Fall or next Spring. . ."
