Red clover welcoming spring in our meadow

"We lightly tilled this strip of meadow in the fall to help identify the start of our neighborhood trail on an easement. After spreading the seed and raking it in we ran over it with the mower tires to set the seed. It sprouted in the late fall and provided a slight ground cover until it took off in late March. The red clover is the first of this seed mix to bloom and others will follow. This is the second time we've used this in our neighborhood meadow and we are very pleased with the results. American Meadows has the best germination that we have found and we will always order from them."

The flowers are so beautiful!

"The city in which I live (Greenville NC) made me cut them down. They were seen as "overgrown vegetation ". It is incredibly sad. I'm trying to get the code updated to include urban meadows ."

Sue (5/5)

Not a big variety.

"The majority of what has bloomed so far is coreopsis and a little bit of black eyed susan. I was hoping for more than just yellow flowers. Fingers crossed that some more flowers ofnother varieties bloom in the coming weeks."

Amazing mix that gives new blooms every week!!

"I'm in far West Texas where nothing grows or it gets literally fried in the summer. It's very hard to get anything to grow in our desert region, especially with our caliche soil, scorching sun, and water restrictions. I have a small flower bed where I've amended the soil and water twice a week. It gets full to partial shade, and I wasn't sure how these would do. I planted these in the fall, and they germinated very quickly! My husband initially thought they were weeds and almost dug them up, and I'm so glad he didn't because they started putting on a gorgeous show this spring!! I have so many larkspur, clover, poppies, borage, mallow, flax, and so much more blooming. Every week, it's something new blooming, and we're both loving it! I hope this seed mix makes it through our harsh summers because it really makes my garden look like a dream! I'm not an expert gardener, I kill more plants than I keep, and this mix was very easy to grow. Definitely recommend trying this these."

Abril (5/5)

Turned out beautifully and was easy to grow!

"I bought this to replace my last years pumpkin patch. The ground was already weed controlled due to the pumpkin patch and I didn't want to let it go back to weeds so decided to buy wildflowers. I just used a garden hoe to disturb the ground, tossed the seeds on it, and stepped on the seeds to make ground contact. Turned out beautifully in 3 months. Can't wait to see what it looks like in year 2. #sweepstakes"

Fox (5/5)

Great if you want a one-year wonder

"First year the annuals in the mix were crazy stunning- my meadow was the talk of the town. Hardly any reseeded, though, and the second year, the whole meadow was overwhelmed with seven-foot tall evening primrose, with back eyed Susan scattered among them. Nothing else grew. . . ."

Disappointed (3/5)

Disappointed

"Initially my new wildflower beds sprouted in late May. But as the summer progressed ( I'm in Delaware ) , despite watering, I got barely a bloom. I'm hesitant to buy more. I used the right bedding dirt, as I was covering dead spots and a garden expert advised me. I got growth of about 2-3". But few flowers."

Greenish T. (2/5)

Nice start, bad finish

"We have an 8 acre meadow and used this product to cover appx. 1/2 acre. The first couple of months were lovely - three or four species bloomed (predominately red clover). Later in spring the clover died off and the 1/2 acre section looked brown and dead. A few pockets of additional species came up in spots but it's mostly Johnson grass or dead brown clover now."

Eric (2/5)

Absolutely amazing! Vastly exceeded my expectations!

"I wasn't sure how well these wildflower seeds would do, but my oh my did they do AMAZING! I am so pleased with how they came in. I get so many compliments from neighbors and people walking but. I'll be buying more and expanding next season!"

Jeff (5/5)

fast germination

"Was very pleased to see the seeds I had sown germinated in less than 48 hrs. They certainly got off to a quick and healthy start."
