Overview
The plants in our West Wildflower Seed Bombs were chosen from 17 different blooming species that thrive in the West’s arid climate. To capture adequate rainfall, plant seed bombs in fall to overwinter in place and bloom the following spring. Clay and compost combine to create the perfect growing medium for wildflower seeds while protecting them from hungry birds.

Description
Our West Wildflower Seed Bombs are full of drought-tolerant, native and non-GMO seeds from flower varieties like Rocky Mountain Bee Plant (Cleome serrulata), Plains Coreopsis (Coreopsis tinctoria), Fleabane Daisy (Erigeron peregrinus), Indian Blanket (Gaillardia pulchella), Globe Gilia (Gilia capitata), Blue Columbine (Aquilegia caerulea) and Blue Flax (Linum lewisii var. lewisii). Seed bombs are easy to plant and grow and contain 5-25 annual and perennial seeds per ball. Two one-inch Wildflower Seed Bombs can plant one square foot, or use more for a dense meadow-like planting. Place West Wildflower Seed Bombs in a prepared area in early spring, making sure adequate rainfall is predicted, or supplement with your own watering schedule. You can also plant in fall for seeds to overwinter and bloom in spring.
